Beakstreet Birds, located in Sachse, TX, offers the following services:

Reservations and Deposits

To reserve a bird, a non-refundable deposit is required. Deposit amounts vary based on bird size and rarity:

Small birds (e.g., Quakers, Sun Conures): $300+ deposit
Large birds (e.g., African Greys, Amazons, Cockatoos): $2500+ deposit
Rare species or mutations: 50% deposit

All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Payment Options

We accept Cash, Zelle, PayPal, Online Payments, and Direct Deposits. Any transaction fees will be added to the total sales price.

Health Guarantee

All birds are disease tested negative for Polyomavirus (PVD), Avian Bornavirus (ABV), Psittacine Beak and Feather Disease (PBFD), and Chlamydia psittaci. We provide a 7-day health guarantee for weaned birds. Customers are encouraged to have the bird examined by an avian veterinarian within this period. If deemed unfit for sale, a certificate must be presented within 24 hours for exchange or refund.

Supplies

All supplies (food, cages, toys, etc.) are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.

Local Pickup Policy

Appointments must be scheduled in advance. Cash payment is required on pickup day.

Sales Tax

Applicable to purchases made within Texas.

Shipping Policy

We arrange shipping via Delta Airlines within the continental U.S. only. Shipping costs $185 & up nationwide, plus $65–$125 for an airline-approved crate. All shipped birds must be paid in full before departure.

Refund and Return Policy

All sales are final once birds are shipped. We have a 24-hour notification period for any issues upon delivery.

Prices are subject to change based on season and availability.

Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone and to modify these terms as necessary.
